GFKK advised on the design of the Poland Pavilion the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka.
Recently, we supported architects Alicja Kubicka and Borja Martinez from the interplay architects architectural studio in negotiating a contract for the conceptual design of the Poland Pavilion at the EXPO 2025 World Exhibition in Osaka.
A party to this agreement is the Polish Investment and Trade Agency S.A., which is responsible for preparing Poland's presence at EXPO 2025. The theme of the upcoming EXPO will be "Designing the Future Society for Our Life". It will be implemented through three sub-themes: Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Life to Others. The organizers expect participants from over 150 countries and over 28 million visitors.
"By participating in the Expo, Poland wants to strengthen its image on the international arena and establish new economic contacts. The flagship of our country will be the Polish Pavilion located in the Saving Life zone. This sub-topic concerns supporting health with modern technology, strengthening safety and saving mental well-being and harmonious coexistence of man with nature, says Grzegorz Piechowiak, General Commissioner of the Polish Section of EXPO 2025, Secretary of State, Government Plenipotentiary for Foreign Investments at the Ministry of Development and Technology.
The involvement of GFKK included support for the authors of the project in negotiations with PAIH and with local partners - subcontractors who will carry out part of the work in Japan.
Michał Grzybczyk and Marta Żeredzińska – Le were involved in this case.
We keep our fingers crossed!
